And now for the other news of the weekend. The brothers Branch, Jonathan and Simon attempted the Suffolk BYU (Back Yard Ultra). Simon (85th) completed 15 laps, 62.51 miles in a time of 12:02:38. Jonathan (84th) went a bit further completing 25 laps, 104.17 miles in a time of 20:08:58. It sounds a bit mean to say “attempted”, but at the time of writing 6 competitors are still going 49 laps, 204 miles in!
