Another busy day today for Striders racing at a variety of different events. But first just want to say well done to Pascale Holden who didn’t have the race she planned yesterday at the Endurance Life North York Moors Ultra. Unfortunately Pas hurt her knee but still managed to hobble along to complete the Marathon distance! Sounds a tough day but impressive to still get a marathon in Pas, well done and hope the knee recovers quickly!
So onto today, just down the road at the Pirelli Stadium in Burton for the Brewers 10k, we had James Realey, Sally Cartwright, Hannah Cartwright, Eamonn Hughes, Lyndsey Wiles, Amanda Wilson & Alex Hall – well done all of you, looks like the sun was nice for you and you had a fun morning!
Then over in Worksop, trying to maximise their Road Championship points at the Half Marathon we had Jonny Branch, Brian Thomas, Andy Miller, Paul Roome, Liz Phillips & Jo Gregory! Sounds like a tough course that, with much undulation – didn’t stop you all getting cracking times though!
Then last but most certainly not least Hazel Baxter ran the Dublin Marathon, along with 16310 other finishers! Fantastic Hazel, I’m sure that would’ve been one to remember :D
Well done Striders! :D
