This week we had 30 running Striders at 5 parkrun events. We also had Dave Keegan marshalling and Daniel Butcher, Steve Cartwright & Ray Evans pacing at Alvaston (Ray also did Car Park attending and had to dash over to the start to pace!). At Long Eaton we also had Eamonn Hughes pacing and Lyndsay Wiles volunteering too! Thanks very much all of you :)
At Alvaston we had Tim Bentley and Hazel Baxter getting PBs and Amanda Jackson doing her first parkrun as a Strider, well done everyone!
Amanda Wilson was back on her tourism quest, by heading down to do her 69th parkrun location with a run at Market Bosworth (North of Nuneaton, West of Leicester), well done Amanda!
Next week we have our Parkrun Championship fixture at Alvaston, look forward to seeing lots of you there! Those doing Shipley XC the following day, make sure you keep plenty in the tank though! :)
