This week we had 25 Striders running at 5 events, with volunteer support from Luke Bremmer, Dave Keegan & Ray Evans at Alvaston and Eamonn Hughes at Long Eaton, thanks very much folks!
This is the first week for a long time we had no PBs! But…. we know it’s because everyone wanted to be fresh for supporting or running at our Shelton Striders 10k today, right!? :D
We did have several ‘First Timers’ at tourist locations, with Amanda Wilson at Bramshall Road parkrun in Uttoxeter and 7 Striders down in Bristol doing Ashton Court Parkrun!! Hmm is this some kind of splinter-group Strider Tourism going on?!? :D only joking – well done all!
Just one other thing to mention.. Sally Cartwright ran at Markeaton with her Daughter Hannah, but strangely has a recorded time 40 seconds slower, not sure what happened there but I’ve put a note on the results :D well done both of you!
