A beautiful spring weekend began with 25 Striders enjoying their Saturday morning Parkrun in the sunshine!
This must have turbo-charged Sally Cartwright, Steve Cartwright & Kieran Brown at Markeaton who all got PBs, with Martin Kerr getting faster every week and taking 1st place again! Brilliant running folks!
Sam James popped up for her first run at Normanby Hall near sunny Scunthorpe, and Paul Pearce got a much deserved 2nd place and PB at Alvaston (I believe this may be his overall 5k PB too – amazing Paul congratulations!!), he was only kept off 1st place as the incredible Alex Pilcher of Derby AC turned up and put in a 15:29, wow!
Great running all of you – looking forward to seeing lots of you next weekend when Striders Tourist Parkrun returns with a trip to Rushcliffe!
