Just 2 Striders entered this Peak Running event at Calke Abbey as solo runners. Dave Thornton and Harry Sloan ran each 2.6 mile loop within the allotted hour to complete all 10 laps. While they “ran together” they finished with 4 seconds difference in their times (Harry finished in 4:28:28 and Dave in 4:28:32) so Harry won the Male over 60 prize.
Niv Speith also ran but as part of an all female team. Niv ran 3 out of the 10 laps and the team finished 7th in the female teams in an impressive 4:17:35!
