An excellent Striders turnout this morning at the Clowne Half Marathon. It’s a lovely race, well organised and well marshalled. Probably one of the more undulating races of the road championships with several off road Striders swapping mud for tarmac – at least they still had some hills to climb! A phased finish of smiling Striders over a 90 minute period with a welcome pint and chips at the pub for some afterwards. We’d strongly recommend this for next year – cake at the finish line and a nice hoody! Well done to Sal on a 2 min Half Marathon PB over a tough course.
