Someone asked a while back asking what your dream race would be and my dream was a race near the sea. My dream race however didn’t include a nasty headwind for all 13 miles or the fact that it was a very, very cold wind! That said, the Coast HM was a great race along the N Wales coast, some spectacular scenery, tarmac underfoot and a couple of extremely cheeky inclines! I’m happy to have ended up with a time just over my PB despite the conditions.
