Just one Strider went along to this even and reported a time of 5:23, which given that the storm “Brian” was sill battering many parts of the country was quite a respectable time. However, with a very harsh cut off time of only hours he didn’t get to feature in the results but rather as a “DQ”. Well done regardless Neil, hey were not easy conditions at all.
Another very interesting point to note is that this is the first event I have seen runners disqualified for the use of headphones. So this could start to become a more enforced rule.
