I took on The Three Shires LDWA event on 9th April 2016 taking in the moorlands and peaks of Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire. Completed the somewhat squelchy 29 mile route (or rather 31.5 with an off-route jaunt over Piggford moor!) coming home in 7 hours 16 minutes. A hard but great event with cracking food at the finish and checkpoints.
