XC6 Car Parking – 1st Mar 2015

Important instructions have been received:-

A plea from the school just in re our main/official car parking we are using for our race on Sunday.

The message is straightforward below – and the school attach a useful campus map to help. It can be summarised simply as:

  1. Please can drivers fill the car parking areas off the Warren Hills Road entrance (island area) FIRST – thereafter the school car parks/bus park area off Meadow Lane and the Meadow Lane parking bays. We will post marshals at both entrances.
  2. Please please car share wherever possible as we have had to do at this year’s Road/XC fixtures due to increased field sizes.

DERBY RUNNER XC5: Bosworth Country Park 15/02/2015

HINCKLEY RUNNING CLUB

UKA PERMIT Number: MCAA/025/2015
DATE/TIME: Sunday 15th February 2015. Races start 10.30 (juniors), 10.55 (Men) 11.05 (Ladies).
VENUE: Bosworth Country Park, Leicestershire.
ENTRY FEE: £3 per runner, £1 for Juniors
DIRECTIONS: The Country Park is located on the eastern edge of Market Bosworth town, West Leicestershire, CV13 0LP
PARKING: Use Bosworth Park overflow car park only, as directed by marshals. Tents may be pitched where instructed to do so. Parking is at your own risk. Parking Cost £2.50 so please car share where possible. (Please allow time to get through the Barrier)
Please do not park on the surrounding roads and please do not leave any litter in the car parks.
CHANGING: There are no changing facilities. There are public toilets in the car park.

The course consists of 1 lap totalling 10k. The course has gravel paths, ploughed fields and wooded areas. Please take care and obey marshal’s instructions, follow all markers and please do not divert off the course layout.
You participate in this race at your own risk.
FOOTWEAR: Spikes or studs may be worn.
JUNIOR COURSE: 1 or 2 laps of approx. 0.8 miles.
POST RACE Social and presentation will be in The Dixie Arms, Market Bosworth.
(Left out of the park and follow the one way route into the centre, it is also only a short walk and maybe easier to do this).
NO MUDDY KIT OR SHOES TO BE TAKEN INTO THE PUB.
