Three Striders completed the Gritstone Grind off-road ultra marathon on Sunday 9th September, a race along the full length of the 35-mile (and rather hilly) Gritstone Trail from Kidsgrove to Disley. For two of them, Ian Patheyjohns and Nick Kirkland, it was the first time they had put their toe on the line at an ultra, which makes their performances even more impressive.
